 Chapter 1:  I can use counting techniques to solve problems. Chapter 2:  I can use matrices to organize data and to solve problems. I can solve a system of equations with TWO and THREE variables. Chapter 3:  I can graph and solve a compound inequality.  I can graph and solve an absolute value inequality. I can graph a system of linear inequalities. Chapter 4:  I can determine the domain and range of a function graphically and algebraically. I can graph a quadratic equation. I can determine the domain and range of a quadratic function. Chapter 5:  I can solve a quadratic equation. I can graph and solve a quadratic inequality. I can determine the number and types of roots of a quadratic equation using the discriminant.  I can graph and determine solutions for a system of quadratic equations or inequalities. I can manipulate complex numbers (imaginary). Chapter 6:  I can evaluate polynomial expressions I can simplify polynomial expressions. I can factor polynomial expressions. I can find the minimum and maximum values of a polynomial function. I can determine the domain and range of a polynomial function graphically. I can determine the domain and range of a polynomial function algebraically. I can recognize and determine the zeros/ x-intercepts/ solutions/ factors of a polynomial equation. Chapter 7:  I can manipulate and evaluate a radical expression I can solve a radical equation. Chapter 8:  I can convert between logarithmic and exponential equations. I can graph a logarithmic or exponential function. Chapter 9:  I can use the law of sines to solve problems. I can use the law of cosines to solve problems. I can determine the domain and range of sine or cosine function. I can determine the amplitude and period of a sine or cosine function. Chapter 10:  I can solve a rational equation. I can simplify a rational expression. Chapter 11:  I can graph and determine various characteristics of both a circle and parabola.  I can write equations of both circles and parabolas. I can solve a quadratic equation by completing the square. Chapter 12:  I can use sequences and series to solve problems.
