I have a B.S. from Eastern Kentucky University in Communication Disorders, and a M.S. from Western Kentucky University in Communication Disorders. This is my seventh year working working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the school system, and I am currently serving in my fourth year at Hopkins Elementary School. My primary goal in the school system is to utilize my acquired skills in Communication Disorders by positively impacting the lives of those with:
- Speech sound production disorders
- Language disorders
- Fluency disorders
- Voice/resonance disorders
This means helping my students improve their communication to the best of their ability so that they may access their education, in the same way their peers do, while at school. I hope to have a positive impact on my students by improving their communication skills to increase the quality of their lives so that they may have the confidence and skills to succeed socially, academically, and in extracurricular activities.
