I am a 2003 graduate of Somerset High School. In the fall of 2003 I began my higher education at the University of Kentucky where I received my B.A. in History in 2009. In 2010 I began a masters program at Morehead State University in the study of special education and early childhood psychology. I received both my M.A. and Rank I in Special Education from Morehead State in the summer of 2012. In 2015 I completed my Administration Certification Program at the University of the Cumberlands.
I have been teaching in the Somerset School District in various capacities since 2010. For the past five school years I have served as the Low Incidence instructor at Hopkins Elementary. During my tenure in the Somerset School District I have also served as the In School Suspension instructor for Somerset High School as well as a 6th grade resource teacher at Meece Middle School.
I coach offensive and defensive line for the Somerset Briar Jumpers football program.
