Girls in Engineering, Math & Science

 

The conference are geared toward a fun-filled, educational day for eighth grade girls who have expressed an interest in math, science, engineering, information technology, and health-related fields. The workshop hosts, who provided the hands-on workshops, are all industry professionals who have a passion for their field of study and who want to encourage others to pursue similar college degrees.  Students participated in hands-on workshops in the following areas: Emergency Medical Services - Paramedics, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Physics and Engineering, Augmented Reality, and Construction Technology.
