Meece Middle School believes in developing well-rounded students and instilling the character traits that produces success in life.   The character word for April was perseverance which means to work steadily and endure hardships to achieve a goal without giving up. 

MMS Awards Day Ceremonies MMS Awards Day Ceremonies

Meece Middle School's Award Day Ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2018.

8th Grade - 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
7th Grade - 10:10 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.
6th Grade - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
5th Grade - 12:40 p.m. to 1:40 p.m.

First Place - Kentucky Public Service Recognition Poster Contest First Place - Kentucky Public Service Recognition Poster Contest

Mahayla Mounce, eighth grader at Meece Middle School, won first place in the Kentucky Public Service Recognition Poster Contest in the 10 to 13 year old age group.  The winners were selected from the 1,200 entries across the state.

Meece Middle School is proud to announce that ten eighth grade students were selected to participate in the 2019 Rogers Explorers Program this summer.  Special congratulation to the following students (front row – left to right) Julia Beasley, Kayleigh Bartley, Kate Bruner and Grace Bruner; (back row – left to right) Muneeb Ahmed, Jack Bruner, Josh Gross, Max Yeast, Clark Denney & Aiden Corder.

K-PREP Pep-Rally 2019 K-PREP Pep-Rally 2019

Meece Middle School held their K-PREP pep-rally on Thursday, April 25, 2019.  During the pep-rally, motivational speaker, Greg Coker, spoke with the students about practicing successful and positive habits that will create opportunities for them to succeed in school and in life.
