Mr. Lenox graduated from Pulaski County High School in 1999.  He earned at Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters in Music Performance from Campbellsville University.  He also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Integrated Music from the University of the Cumberlands.  Mr. Lenox has been an avid performer on trumpet on a national and international level over the years.  He has toured around the country as Lead Trumpet with the Continental Singers and Brass based out of Los Angeles.  He has also toured Brazil twice as Lead Trumpet and Soloist in a Big Band (jazz band) and was featured on national TV while in Brazil.  He currently plays lead and directs the Somerset Big Band as well as the Somerset Brass and is 1st Trumpet in the Lake Cumberland Community Band.

Teaching experience includes teaching private trumpet/brass lessons and band camps since 2000 across the state of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.  He also taught for one year as the music professor at Henderson Community College while being the band director of a Homeschooled Co-op Fine Arts Organization in Southern Indiana.  Mr. Lenox is in his 4th year as Assistant Band Director at Somerset Schools and teaches high school Arts and Humanities along with a couple middle school bands.

While at Campbellsville University, Mr. Lenox met his beautiful wife Megan Lenox.  She is the Head Band Director of Somerset Schools and it is a blessing to be able to work as a team together building a fantastic band program for the Somerset Schools.  Mr. and Mrs. Lenox have 2 dogs, Clara and Ginger, and 1 cat, Kiki (kitty).
