Welcome to my school website.  I have been a math instructor at Somerset High School since the 2000-2001 school year.  I am a 1996 graduate of Somerset High School and am very proud to be a Briar Jumper and have bleed purple and gold my entire life.

I am very excited to teach our students mathematics and getting to know each and every one of them as people and not just names on my class roster who happen to be sitting in my classroom.

I am a graduate of Somerset Community College, the University of Kentucky (where I was a  Singletary Scholar) and Union College.  I am certified to teach mathematics for grades 5 all the way up to 12th grade.  I have also been a part-time instructor at Somerset Community College and taught College Algebra there for several years.

Math is a key ingredient to a student's high school education.  The ability to be a successful math student plays a big role in what a student is able to major in, once they get to college.  I don't want to see students have to settle for less in life simply because they 'couldn't do the math.'

I take my role as a classroom instructor for my students very seriously and feel it is my responsibility to bring my "A" game every class session.
