Kindergarten Entry Age Cutoff Moves to August 1 for the 2017-18 School Year
The Meece Middle School academic team participated in District Governors Cup Saturday, January 21st. They won 1st place in quick recall, and six students placed in either written assessment or composition, making them the over all runner up. They will be moving on to Regionals February 4th. Congratulations to these students!

Meece Middle School has TALENT! On December 16, 2016, this year’s talent show included several different acts that ranged from singing to dancing to playing a musical instrument.

Parentinn has created the “Cyberbullying Prevention for Teens Scholarship” for high school students. The scholarship award amount is $1,000 and it is open to all high school students.
The public is invited to review and provide input on the Somerset Independent School District Health and Wellness Policy at a meeting to be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017. This meeting will be held at the Somerset Board of Education Office in the Board Room at 5pm. Additionally, the policy will be available for public review and input at the Somerset Schools Central Office front desk during normal business hours.
